seeing this from a programmers perspective
i found it clever that you used the broken ear peace as an excuse for him to able to hack it. i admit it that was pretty clever.
personally i found this episode rather boring. nothing much happened.
the only thing that really bothered me was that in the scene where Alpha was trying to get into the battle grid, the game told him that that grid was hacked and he cannot enter...
if i where to make a game such as TOME and it had the ability to sense if a place was hacked or not. i would pretty much make so the server kicked him out of the game automatically for a while so an admin like me could see in the server's debug log what he did.
i know that it was made to make things more intense. but common.
hackers are known for entering in the system and leaving again without anyone noticing them.
what could be a good idea for the show was to not tell the viewer who the hackers are. or at least give them the ability to change character form. if i was a hacker i would not show up in the same game with the same shape, form or profile name. (because if it was a real online game Rockoon would be banned from the game the same day as he created his profile).
and a last thing.
that purple player doesn't seem to have any kind of weakness or anything what so ever. i know that he is suppose to be a mysterious character and all but it looks like he has all the available abilities in the game. maybe make an episode where something is bothering him that makes him unable to fight a certain hacker or something. at least add some character development to that purple dude.
